"Pastor Taiwo, everyday that passes since you have gone to be with your maker reminds me of such a genuine and passionate servant of God you were, how you lighted my path as a youth and continually glimpsed that beam of hope at the lowest seasons of my journey in life.
Thank you for everything.
Let the works of God you did never go down."

A father from afar to me , I specially loved his heart to love with no discrimination and TFOLC was home for other Pentecostals like me. "About the time Church3:16 started, during service at TFOLC, he was talking about some concerns that had been expressed with children being in ministry. I vividly remember Pastor Taiwo saying (paraphrased) "...allow them, let them function as pastors, leaders, and ministers and make their mistakes whilst we are here so we can guide and correct them."
Looking back, PastorT released his arrows early into ministry and by so doing raised a new generation of spiritual leaders. A great legacy. The testament of that is the strength and faith demonstrated by his biological children and grandchildren during the service of songs, funeral service, and Thanksgiving this past weekend. A great legacy. A GENERAL IN DEED.
May God continue to bless and keep Pastor Tolu, Pastor Jimmy, and Dr. Tobi (and their children and spouses), and especially strengthen, bless and keep Timileyin and Jomiloju and help them love and know the God of their Father and Mother. Amen
I also pray for Pastor Fred. I cannot imagine how devastating this must be for him.
May God bless the fountain of life church and everyone affiliated with the ministry. The church is marching on and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Amen"

"Pastor Taiwo was a blessing to me in no small way. I first knew about him while watching Pst Bimbos teachings on marriage and relationship on ITV back in the days as that became one of my favorite programs as a young girl. When she passed and with the advert of social media I would occasional go on his page, stumble on his messages and be blessed. I was always amaze at how he was so humble and sincere and how he allowed his wives both Pst Bimbo and later Pst Nomith shine. I enjoyed the enjoy your life and all the dances that came with fountain of life with the presence of Pst Nomith and then when she went to be with the angels, I was much more amazed with Pst Taiwos strenth and unwavering faith in Jesus. "Hmmm. Finally I have mustered the courage to do this with your picture on it. This is one of the most difficult deaths after I lost my child, Dad (who died at 69) and now a Pastor whom my family and I have known for over 28 years and loved. My husband and I served with all that we had under him without holding back. Pastor was a generous leader in a very unique way.
As we journey down this lane of laying the body of Pastor to rest in the earth realm even, as he dwells in the light of God. I wonder how Pastors Tolu, Jimmy, Tolu and young Timilehin and Jomiloju are coping fa, but we know that the God of comfort has shown up as we pray for all of them from all over the world. Accept our deepest condolences. This is hard, but honour is given when it is due. To all the siblings of Pastor, home and abroad, I cannot imagine your grief and we mourn with you, members of Fountain of Life and the body of Christ in Nigeria and worldwide mourns.
However, one thing is sure, that out of your family (The Odukoyas), came a great leader, a General/Leader in the Body of Christ in his own right and his legacy will live on. That is the truth!
For many like me, I am in a daze still and just going through the motions with a mixed emotions. I have been praying for my soul as I pray for the immediate family especially to overcome this grief properly.
To Pastor Taiwo, to say the phrase "Until we meet again" is as valid today like never before. That is the confidence as you dwell amongst the headquarters of Angels and our Heavenly Father. You have made such an impact in my life and others, even when we wanted more and desired more discourse that will never happen again. Howbeit, the Sovereign Lord who has allowed this knowest best. We may question Him, but He is not obligated to answer us.
Therefore, we rest in the confidence that eternal life in Christ Jesus is a reality. Thank God you are among those saints in triumph on high. God be with your immediate and extended Family, the Fountain of Life Churches, the Body of Christ and the Nations. Adieu our dear Pastor Taiwo Odukoya. You will be missed forever as we enter a new season without you on this side of Earth. Indeed, until we meet again by the Grace of God sir. 💝❤🙏🏼🕎👑"

"Though our hearts are heavy that you are gone, it’s also filled with thanksgiving for a life of impact and for having you as a leader as we submit to Gods will.
Many have come and gone but you stand TALL on all counts as a General in Gods army.
My family became a member of TFOLC in 1993 and we found our home. We joined not sure of what the future held but under your ministry we grew. We florished and were blessed in all areas spiritially, physically, mentally and financially.
You were sincere, forthright, always in the spirit, a worshipper, a beacon of light in your humble yet focused way. You looked up to God as the author and finisher of your faith and taught us to do the same.
You lead the Lords flock with integrity, you strengthened, prayed, cared and loved all sincerely and never gave up on anyone.
Being a part of this work with you has been a huge honor. We are so proud of the legacy you left behind and full of thanksgiving for a life of impact.
We pray for your biological Children and the Odukoya family. May God strengthen them and give them the fortitude to bear this loss.
The Church marches on.
Rest in perfect peace Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya."

"Pastor T, as we fondly called you, influenced me while growing up. He gave me a reason to look at life differently. He instilled in me a heart of worship. I remembered many things, but the most notable ones were when I sowed my only car to the church – one of the pastors collected the keys from me and left with no ceremony because Pastor T was in a meeting. From nowhere, Pastor Taiwo came out of the meeting, held my right hand, spun me around, and smiled – that was the icing on the cake.
One watch-night service before we relocated, I came out to give an offering because of the journey ahead of me – Pastor T walked up to me, held my hand again, and made a pronouncement.
I have no idea what just happened, but my confidence is in God, and I take solace in the promise of Rev 21: 6.
I am privileged to cross your path in life, and you made a deposit shaping generations – for this, I thank you. You will be forever in our hearts and minds. Farewell, Pastor T.
To Jimi, Tolu, all the children, and grandchildren, accept our condolences."

"The smile, the charisma, the voice, the expressions, the fatherliness, all morphed into strong love for the Lord, for humanity, deeply guided by a strong immersion in the word. That’s how I can describe Pastor Taiwo. He was a great teacher, mentor, leader, and a great adviser and counsellor.
I greatly revere the counsel you gave to me when I sought your views on a particular matter whose outcome has affected my life positively and immensely, and I do revere those few occasions on which you rode in my car, and I was privileged to drive yourself and Pastor Aerogun on a few occasions incognito as a protocol member. Many fond memories of you, the last of which was the manner in which you received us when we visited you to mourn with you on the transition of Pastor Nomthi.
We are saying goodbye to a big part of our lives…all of us physical gathered and in the various media expressions. Pastor Taiwo affected everyone here today and I hope that we all get to live our lives in the manner in which you instructed, demonstrated, and taught us, so that we all gather again when life’s final trumpet sounds.
We can only rejoice in the sound knowledge of where you now abide, with your loved ones, in eternity to be separated no more. Thank you for sharing, caring, teaching, giving, and living an exemplary life. Indeed, you were one of God’s special gifts to the world.

"Pst Taiwo and the Fountain of Life Church began to support our mission field, Shuwa Arabs, since 1997, and has continued till date, even after Boko Haram crisis scattered us.
He donated a Beetle car to the field, FOLC invested into setting up of a clinic in the field, and sent brethren from the Missions Dept for field visits. Beside these, Pst Taiwo approved a partial scholarship for my son from SS1-SS3 when it was tough for us to pay his school fees. Today, that young man is an Ivy League university engineering graduate.
On 12th June 1999 when I had my traditional wedding in Isonyin, Ijebu Ode, brethren from the Missions Dept came to stand with me as my family.
Whenever I visited in his office or we spoke on phone, Pst Taiwo was ever a cheerful fellow, inspiring hope and courage.

You saw me in 1996 and literally became the father I never knew from that time till you passed. you shaped me into the man I am today, dad your passing has left a huge void in my life, I am only trusting God to fill this void because I am sure no human being can fill this deep void.
I make a promise to you today that I will continue to make you proud, thank you so much dad, I will miss you terribly 😭😭😭"

"I started attending Fountain in 2003 because of Pastor Bimbo’s teachings, however it was Pastor Taiwo’s teachings that somehow kept me there…
Everywhere I go I testify of how Pastor Taiwo humbles himself in the place of worship and that inspires me a lot.
I will miss his spontaneous worships during sermons and how he jumps excited by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
A son of God who has inspired generations to be children of God. A true blessing to our generation.
Rest well God’s general!"

"I’ve being immensely blessed by Pastor Taiwo for over 20 years, through his messages and worship. Many times his teachings through the help of the Holy Spirit have met my needs. In particular, I’ll never forget how I felt early this year as I received confirmation to serve in ministry in our local church. Then discovered my promise for year 2005 - Our year of the Holy Spirit, then discovered it’s the same this year! I’ll miss Pastor. May Almighty God uphold his family & the church."

"Life is truly fleeting and short! Great and glorious however are the memories of the righteous.
I cannot but be grateful for meeting Pastor Taiwo Odukoya who taught so passionately about the place of a man in the lives of his wife, children, family, and everyone else connected with him. He modelled this so truly and powerfully.
Through his teachings, I became evidently aware of the tremendous control I have as a man over my emotions and reactions to things that are unexpected and undesired. His godly wisdom was always evident in the kinds of Scriptural counsels he exposed everyone around him to.
Words fail one when emotions run high and deep. But the passing of this Giant of Faith will continually be an exemption to the saying that ‘I have nothing to say’.
Pastor was the definition of simplicity, genuineness, humility, and integrity. His life was and will continue to be defined by integrity. Integrity in and out of the Church.
Glory to GOD for a life well lived by the man who came to terms early about his purpose.
Glory to GOD for a quiet, yet impactful life devoid of fanfare and unwholesome attention.
Glory to GOD for an exceptional example of Christ and His teachings.
Glory to GOD for a man who praised His Maker without reservation or restriction.
Glory to GOD for the gift of Pastor Taiwo Daniel Odukoya who taught the Word, lived the Word, and left the World without untainted testimonies."

"I still cant believe you are gone Sir.
I am a back bencher in church but a disciple who knew and believed whole heartedly in his Shepherd.
Thank you for leading us right, thank you for telling us the dos and donts in our christian faith.
I always looked forward to your teachings.
Was it the day you spoke about recovering things that have been lost using David as an example and a miracle my family had waited for even before i was born happened or was it the day you spoke about when Jesus told those who wanted to stone the adulterer to cast the first stone as long as they werent without sin. On that day my heart was heavy in church as a mistake i made was about to hurt me (long story short, i was pardoned).
I am not sure how the after life works but i know somehow you would be able to see this, i just want you to know your life was a miracle and you touched so many souls (those you know and many more like me who you dont even know).
I pray that the lord continues to grant your family the fortitude to bear the loss.

"Pastor Taiwo was my first Pastor when I came back home!
My Spiritual Father sleep well............
How I came to know Pastor Taiwo.
Circa 1996, a dear friend @olukemiaw invited me to her church picnic for young people, although I did not attend the picnic. I would later attend the church on Sundays just to listen to sermons by Pastor Taiwo.
The church was The fountain of life Church Ilupeju , Lagos.
Pastor in those days, you would always start your sermons with worship, always with worship then you would sing …. Arise Shine for your light has come!
We would all sing and declare this verse of scripture through song! I learnt many verses through song under your tutelage.
After attending the Single amd Married ministry meeting on Monday evenings , Pastor Bimbo invited me to join her team on the Singles and Married Executives as we were called. It was an honour to serve this great woman of God, whom you released without reservation to serve the Lord.
Shortly after this I would become part of the volunteers at the “Vicarage” . You were free and open with us, it was an open door policy. We would listen to testimonies, and your teachings on faith!
I learnt a lot from both of you as spiritual parents: I learnt the practical application of the word, how to read the bible, how to use a concordance, how to use STRONGS. Your library encouraged me to start my own library!
I’m partial nearly 30years later to the NKJV Spirit filled life bible because of your teachings and influence.
You thought me the importance of the staying connected to Holy Ghost at all times and when the presence came down during the service, you would say “ I feel Him” and you would laugh and then the whole atmosphere would change, the Holy Spirit would take over.
When the Single amd Married team travelled out of town you would intercede for us , blessing us as we went across the country and across the globe and we would return with testimonies!
Your teachings on Faith and the Daniel principles remain with me almost 30 years later.
It was an honour to have met you and to have served you.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences Tolu, Jimi and Tobi, Timileyin and Jomiloju, the entire Odukoya Family, the staff at the Vicarage.
To the church @tfolc, it was indeed a blessing to have Pastor Taiwo as a Father.
Thank you for everything Pastor Taiwo Daniel Odukoya.
Thank you for Sir for showing us how to love Jesus.
Sleep well Pastor …… Sleep Well"

"As you always said sir, all glory must be given back to God, I thank God for answering God call to be our pastor, father, mentor in all aspects of life with humility, integrity, and because of who you are sir we’re what we are today with all your teachings you deposit in our lives to be good ambassadors in our various communities ,as our pastors you don’t let us feel like we are nothing even if we are not rich like some people in church, you carry us along with many projects that encourage us to be something and successful in life from nothing to be relevant in life , I join Folc in 1995 up till date, I can’t ask for better church than Folc because from nothing to someone big in society today in honesty way you taught us to be diligent and humble and walk in integrity in all our ways , my life is a blessing and testimony in my family because I came from Muslim backgrounds, after your demise all my Muslim family worldwide testify that since they heard that some pastors died especially in Nigeria for the first time,no one point accusing finger at pastors Taiwo Daniel Odukoya, be it in social media or in person, but instead is how good our father in the Lord has touched so many lives in good and positive ways in national wide even to overseas no good testimony that this , so daddy it’s not goodbye but good night daddy we shall see again at the resurrection morning and you will forever be in our hearts and we will continue to fellowship in the church fountain of life till we finish well and fulfilled our mandate too.Thank you sir for giving to the Lord am one of people you saved."

"Dear Pastor,
Your passing still feels so surreal, quite unbelievable. It’s been very difficult for my simple mind to comprehend and much harder for my heart to accept.
Moving out of Nigeria means I have been away from Fountain for many years, yet I always considered TFOLC home, as that is where the foundation of my faith was built.
I learned many good habits in TFOLC, like praying into the new year - watch night service is how ‘you raised us’. It didn’t matter where we were, all the youths back in the day would always flood black to church to pray into the new year and pick a promise for the year.
Psalm 91 - I’ve struggled with that since Pastor Bims passing.
In my view, you were a ‘simple man’… regardless of all you had at your disposal, you never got distracted by the ‘riches of this world’; you were a man who loved God through and through.
You delighted in being a shepherd, and you indeed led like a good shepherd. You were a family man, a proud husband and father. As you raised your biological children, you raised us your church children as well (even those older than you in the Sarah & Abraham ministry).
Your legacy is profound - Single & Married (you were the wind beneath the sails), Discovery, Grace Springs etc.
You lived the life and set the example for us to love God no matter what. To trust him, no matter what.
Your death has indeed broken me, and all I can sincerely say is, “Lord I believe, but help my unbelief”.

"I am profoundly thankful for the privilege of crossing paths with Pastor Taiwo. The memory of my initial close encounter with him lingers vividly – in the corridors of the old auditorium. There, he patiently awaited my arrival and extended a courteous greeting, addressing me by my full name. I was truly taken aback by his unassuming nature, his humility, and his sincere embodiment of a man dedicated to the essence of God.
The journey of my connection with the Lord Jesus Christ has been profoundly facilitated by Pastor Taiwo. He illuminated the path towards establishing a robust rapport with the Triune God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. His personal example mirrored a relationship based on camaraderie, affection, solicitude, and authentic care. Through him, comprehending the process of fostering such a connection became considerably accessible. I could readily confide my shortcomings to Pastor Taiwo and receive invaluable guidance and counsel in return.
Pastor Taiwo, you remain indelibly engraved in my memories - a cherished friend, a devoted father figure, and an enduringly affectionate shepherd.
Thank you for giving to the Lord!"

"TRIBUTE TO ONE OF GOD’S GENERALS - PASTOR TAIWO ODUKOYA
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya was a faithful and dedicated follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a remarkable and inspirational leader. He loved and served God passionately, he also lived an exemplary Christian life, he had a kind, gentle and loving personality, he was compassionate and always puts the needs of others above his own.
We thank God for the life and legacy of Pastor Taiwo, what he stood for, what he was able to achieve for the Kingdom of God both in Nigeria and other Nations of the world, his ministry had a great impact upon lives, Churches and other Ministries. He lived a life completely sold out to the service of God and humanity.
Pastor Taiwo fulfilled his calling as a Pastor and Teacher with a burning passion to reach the world and see souls saved and many delivered and set free from the bondage of sin and wickedness. He was a man of integrity, totally committed to Christ and had a good relationship with fellow believers and other Churches and Ministries. His contributions to Christianity will not be forgotten but always remembered because he left an indelible mark on people’s lives.
Pastor Taiwo lived a life of faith and lived by example, he was able to accomplish a lot because of the impactful life he lived and also because of his strength of character and positive disposition over the years he was able to touch many lives. We have the consolation of the knowledge that he is resting in the bosom of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whom he loved and served well until his demise.
Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His Saints “
Revelation 14:13 “…. Blessed are the dead which die in the LORD from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours, and their works do follow them”.
Pastor Taiwo fought the good fight of faith and ran a good race, he was a true worshipper regardless of the circumstance he worshipped God.
We believe the Church and his family will always be comforted and encouraged by the wonderful memories they have of him.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.

"Thank God for such an exemplary Father. Words fail. You indeed finished well. All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. "PASTOR TAIWO DANIEL ODUKOYA, MY FATHER! MY FATHER!!
Today, we celebrate the life of a remarkable individual who embodied the essence of mentorship, leadership, humility, and honor. Few are they whose life leaves an indelible mark, and Pastor Taiwo Daniel Odukoya undoubtedly stands out as one. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary soul at the age of 67, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, grace, and a profound commitment to service.
Pastor Taiwo was more than our pastor; he was our mentor whose wisdom flowed like a river, quenching the thirst for knowledge and guidance for souls. Through his teachings, he nurtured spiritual growth, helping us find purpose and meaning in our lives. His leadership style was a beacon of light, showing us how to lead with compassion, empathy, and a steadfast commitment to serving others and the community.
Through every challenge he faced, Pastor Taiwo stood tall as a symbol of unwavering faith and resilience. His humility was real, and he lived the values he preached, leaving an imprint of integrity in our lives and community.
As we bid farewell to Pastor Taiwo, we do not mourn a loss, but we celebrate a life that ignited countless souls. His legacy of mentorship, leadership, humility, and honor will continue to flourish in our lives. Your light will forever guide us, and your memory will be a blessing that uplifts generations to come.

"TRIBUTE TO PASTOR TAIWO ODUKOYA
When reality dawns, the thing you never imagined could happen becomes a topical issue. That is a good time to appreciate the omnipresence of the Almighty as the only all-knowing God. The news was shocking but it is real, after all, that Pastor Taiwo has transited. His good life was long enough.
Some people come into your life and become simply irresistible. Such was the story of Pastor Taiwo in my life. I came to Fountain of Life Church as a wedding guest in 1999. My wife (then my fiancée) invited me to her friend’s elder sister’s wedding. I had my local church at the time.
It only took Pastor Taiwo to give the message to the newly wedded couple and I surrendered to his spiritual mentorship without any prompt. After the message, I looked at my wife and she looked at me. The message was clear. We have found our local church.
It was never about him. It was all about Jesus. Pastor Taiwo did not build the church around himself. He never allowed anyone to elevate him beyond his God-given assignment. He did not share in God’s glory. He was quick to direct the gaze of his congregation to God and not himself.
Pastor Taiwo produced leaders from his followers, who can do more than what he could do to bring souls to the kingdom, rather than raise followers who are perpetually tied to the apron string of their leader. His good life was long enough.
He added integrity to ministry and he was a lover of Nigeria. He did not lower the pulpit to partisan politics but he encouraged his congregation to be politically active and positive change agents on the field of politics.
He was a father to all. He always led the church to pray for political leaders across party divide. He was unequivocal about the role of the church in nation building but he never undermined non-Christians. He would usually end with “Nigeria has a great future”.
He lived and let live. He empowered many less privileged through the various outreaches he championed in the church. He was a practical Christian who believed in the overall wellbeing of the flock he shepherded.
I am one of the few who were privileged to work with him directly as a protocol operative. Each time I got detailed on him and I sat in the car with him, I always marveled at his simplicity and humility, particularly his tendency to address people young enough to be his children even with respectful tone.
Pastor Taiwo’s 67 years will surely be deemed short by the many lives he impacted, who would have wanted more of him but God’s ways are not our ways. If life is about fulfilling purpose, he has passed the baton and the church of God is marching on.

Now that the owner of life has taken it back, it is a good time for me to say goodbye to a father and mentor. Pastor Taiwo left a great legacy in me. It is in that spirit that I will be dedicating my new book, Feathers of Hope, (to be released soon), to him. He was a carrier of hope. He personified hope and humility. His 67 good years was long enough.
Fare thee well, Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya (1956 to 2023). Your good life was long enough.

"My Pastor, My mentor, My teacher...
You were such an amazing father, your teachings has taught me nothing but the love of christ and living just for christ on a daily basis and being at peace with everyone. You death was a rude shock to us, but made me forgive my husband just because he knows how much I talk about you and late Pastor Nomthi, then I said I would live as a living example of whom you were. I am intentional about the things I do now because you will foreverly be part of me and I will transfer the good will to my children also. We love you daddy, we will miss you but we are confident that you are with your maker. Rest in Power Our dear Pastor Tttttttttttt.❤️"

"A perfect example of a Father, Husband and Leader; not just to your primary household but to everyone you came in contact with. You led, loved, served and empathized in the true sense of the word; carrying the burdens of those who were neither kin nor associates without guile nor gimmicks.
Your life showed Christ in practical terms both from afar and when near-at-hand. Bold, yet humble, your leadership was indeed for the good and benefit of others amongst whom I am a true benefactor.
Though gone from this construct of time and space, you are not forgotten. The love of God lived out through your stay in this world has left a path of eternal markings that will lead a multitude of souls back to our creator.
@pastortaiwo , you lived, you loved, you led, you served with a heart full of God. I thank you and thank God for your exemplary life.
I forever cherish your last words to me - "Its good to see you" and looking forward to hearing that once more when we shall meet again at the feet of Christ our master.

"I am a friend of the FOLC family. I have grown as a believer listening to Pastor Taiwo’s messages. I particularly was excited about his in-depth teaching on the Holy Spirit and looked forward to hearing his exposition on the ministry of the Holy Spirit while he taught on it. I love Thursday showers. I always feel at home each time I attend the service at FOLC.
I’ll miss hearing Pastor T. It was comforting to hear him speak issues of concern.

"Pastor Taiwo Odukoya is more than a pastor to me, he is my father. When I was homeless,He gave me a home,The Grace Springs Rehabilitation Home, Ikorodu, where I was fed, schooled and refined. When I was lonely, he gave me this big and beautiful family called the THE FOUNTAINEERS, TFOLC, where I felt completely at home. Pastor led me to Jesus Christ and made me understand that my Father is the creator of heaven and earth and I have his spirit on the inside of me.That same spirit ,that raises Jesus Christ from death.Lastly, Pastor handed me to the ministry of the Holy Spirit. He schooled me to be a soldier, an army of the spirit.
Thank you sir for all you have done. You will forever live on in our heart. My generations will hear of you, the man that made me."

"Pastor Taiwo had always been around. From birth, he was someone who had become a staple in my life and in the lives of my mother, my sisters and the rest of my family. Ever encouraging, he was always rooting for me and cheering me on.
To me, he epitomised the life of a true Christian, and he was always (and still remains) a role model for my walk with Christ. He was a true friend of God and made sure that we all understood how important it is to go through every aspect of life with the Holy Spirit. This, amongst others, is one of the lessons that will dwell with me for countless years to come. His warm, friendly, welcoming nature will surely be fondly remembered both within and outside the Fountain of Life Church.
A particular message he delivered which has stuck with me for some reason was one he preached some years ago. Its main theme was “Go Forward”, and I am sure that that is exactly what he would want the Church to do.
I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues, and I pray that God will give us all the strength to overcome. Amen."

"Heavenly FATHER, I am grateful for the grace to have had Pastor Taiwo as my pastor for a good number of years of life. I am grateful for the vision that you established through him. Every gathering at Fountain of Life was always a blessing to my life, even departmental meetings. Serving in the church was such a joy. What am I trying to say? Even if it was not Pastor Taiwo preaching or coordinating the meetings the presence of God was evident. This testifies of the grace that you bestowed upon Pastor Taiwo and this grace trickled down unto the church members simply through his heart for sheep he was sent to shepherd. (Psalm 133). I am grateful to God for the grace bestowed upon Pastor Taiwo to yield to your calling. Thank you Pastor for the blessing of your complete obedience to the call, you gave it all!
To the children and the entire family, thank for allowing and encouraging him to give all that he gave as a blessing to the body of Christ. The LORD is the strength of your life at this time and always in JESUS name."

"I just want to say i’m very grateful to have had Daddy Taiwo in my life for over 17 years of my whole life. He was there from the beginning, he named me Mary. I feel pure aching in my heart to understand that he’s gone. the last time i fully met him i was 14 years old. and i got to meet Pastor Nomthi before she went too. anytime i was speaking to them, the joy and happiness they both had were amazing. He ALWAYS smiled at me and had something to say to me. I’m in pain but I’m very happy he’s made it home above with the Lord. At first it was unbelievable but when i found pictures i was like oh my Lord. But all is well, He deserves to rest as he endured a lot of pain and suffering. I love you Daddy, i know your smiling at me always but i do promise to stay strong and continue to work for the Kingdom of God."

"In life, some things need to be said. Normally, I would say these things in my heart, trusting that God saw my intent but today is a day for testimony
Pastor Taiwo, Dad, I thank God for the gift of your life and ministry. Both yourself and Pastor Bimbo led me to Christ. You explained the gospel of Jesus and introduced the ministry of the Holy Spirit, like none other. For over 22 years (almost half my adult life), I learnt from Christ, under this ministry. The Word is alive, vibrant and relevant in the Fountain of Life Church.
I’m so grateful for the exemplary life you lived, a guide and a beacon of hope for this young man, navigating the bright lights of the city with all its allures. You were so circumspect, never craving the spotlight or attention. You showed that it was possible to live with as much success as possible and yet remain grounded, humble; recognizing that all good things come form above and that it was important to be excellent stewards of everything we have been given from above!
And so, Heavenly Father, I’m in awe as I worship You for the life and times of Pastor Taiwo Daniel Odukoya, your servant and my father in the Lord.
I testify that to the best of my knowledge, Pastor Taiwo served You and taught me to do the same.
I testify that he never inserted himself in between us (myself and You, my Heavenly Father). He always recognized You as the source of all things, both in my life and in the congregation of the saints.
I testify that he always gave You the glory and was almost always visibly disturbed when men tried to shower him with accolades, especially in Your Presence. He always gave You the glory.
I testify that through this ministry, I was able to recognize Your Presence and when You were speaking to me.
I testify that as You used him to raise & encourage leaders (men & women), I saw the manifestations of their rising in different spheres of influence as captains of industry, business and political leaders! The word You gave him (I and the children the Lord has given me, are for signs and wonders...) many years ago, came to pass before my very eyes!
You my King, could have chosen anybody to help mold me, into the man I am today because You are Sovereign! I am so glad you chose Pastor Taiwo Daniel Odukoya. I’m grateful for Your choice and I testify that it was the best choice. I couldn’t have chosen any better. He was such an encouragement and an example! I’m a better man, husband, father, professional & leader with the knowledge of You, that he so richly sowed in my life.
I testify he ran his race and did well by me. May he be blameless in Thy Sight concerning me, if I have fallen short of Your glory. May his memory be blessed and be a blessing to many. May You preserve his legacy and cause all that he left behind to flourish!
To You, Heavenly Father, be all the glory, honor and praise!
In Jesus’ name!
Rest Well, my Pastor, Mentor, Leader.......and Daddy!"

"Your Legacy Lives on!
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s life deeply impacted countless individuals who had the singular privilege of being recipients of his great heart. He changed my life, family, and ministry!
Our first encounter with Pastor Taiwo was when we hosted him and Pastor Bimbo for dinner at our home in July 2005.We had a lot to talk about and fun memories with both of them. But later that year, we were saddened by the sudden departure of Pastor Bimbo.
Our connection with Pastor Taiwo continued as if Pastor Bimbo had told him: “Take care of these two for me.” While we mourn Pastor Taiwo, we celebrate his humbling leadership, unwavering commitment to God’s standard, towering integrity, reassuring and uncommon wisdom, perpetual guidance, and unfailing support. We were brought to Nigeria by Pastor Taiwo. Spending time with you Pastor, gleaning from your wisdom, learning at your feet and worshipping at Fountain was a remarkable experience.
On behalf of my family and our generation, we say thank you Pastor Taiwo for showing us what it means to be courageous in adversity and single mindedly pursuing a calling to something higher than yourself. Thank you for being a portrait of what a life fully dedicated to God looks like.
We miss you, Pastor. You will always be the best spiritual father to us. We cherish the memories we created with you Pastor; they will stay with us throughout the rest of our journey in ministry.

He was Loyal.
Loyal to the Heaven’s Call and Mission on Earth. Loyal to his family, Loyal to his Church Family. Loyal to the Written word of God, Loyal to his Friends.

"I have worshipped in Fountain of Life Church and sat under the ministration of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, his humility is exemplary, committed to raising others even above himself. He has lived a life of great resilience amidst his many trials. I believe his can be related to Job who remained steadfast and committed to God even in the midst of his troubles. It pleases God to take him home at this time, and I believe this for his much needed rest from the battle field. He has left a great legacy in family, church and leadership. Left it this long perhaps because my heart didn’t want to accept the fact that you’re no longer with us.
All I just want to say is ‘THANK YOU sir’
Thank you for everything you did and all that you were 🙏
A man that lived by example, You preached the word and LIVED the word!!!
Never seen a man soooo humble. His humility and attention to details was second to none.
He had time for everyone and remembered even the tiniest detail (how he did it sooo perfectly and beautifully, I still don’t know)
Thank you for nurturing so excellently, for caring so deeply, for loving, for all your wise counsels, for praying and for ALWAYS being there 🙏
A worshipper true and true, he loved to worship, he loved to dance (oh how I’ll miss those dance steps), a gentle giant (deep baritone voice but so gentle and soft spoken whilst having conversations with you)
To say I’ll miss you is an understatement but I’m super thankful to God for the gift of you 🙏
I’ll hold the memories of you so close to my heart and I’m consoled that although you’re absent in the body, you’re present with the Lord.
Rest in power Uncle, till we meet to part no more. I love you and I will miss you sooooo much ❤️"

This doesn’t mean I’ll be able to hold my tears whenever I see your pictures or hear your voice, it just means I’ll find solace in the fact that you had a wonderful life and you’re with the One you worship.
My darling pastor Taiwo
A father to a lot of us, some of us don’t even have a personal relationship with him but we feel the fatherly love from him.
Such a selfless, loving, caring and happy person.
You served your God pastor Taiwo and I guess He wants you free of our sinful world.
I’m sure the world would feel your absence. I‘ll miss your energetic self, your unique voice and dancing steps, the way you radiate glory every time you speak about your maker, the way you loved and believed in our nation Nigeria and your selfless love for people.
Is too hard to say goodbye, I’m not even sure I want to say it. I guess I’ll rather just say thank you for the life you lived and for the love you shared around. How I wish I can get one last hug but I’ll close my eyes and imagine you’re still here.
Lord pls help us see the bigger picture in this because is a lot to handle and process. Help us find solace in You.
Signed
Temitope Adegbami"

"Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya devoted the greater part of his life to serving God and humanity. He was born and raised by very devoted Baptist parents in Kaduna, hence his fluency in Hausa. He retired after 12 years of meritorious service to face the call of God on his life full time. He worshipped and served at TREM and Household of God before establishing The Fountain of Life Church with his wife of blessed memory Pastor Bimbo Odukoya. He served as the General Overseer for more than 30 years. His mission is raising men and women that are impacting the world. He loved his family and was always ready to assist them. We will miss his wise counsel, his moral and support to the family. Pastor Taiwo was known for his integrity, humility, and generosity. His quest for education led the Church to establish Education Project Team that provides financial and other support to the Ilupeju public schools and community. Another initiative by him is the Church taking street boys from Oshodi and other places to rehabilitate them and fund their education. Through him, the Church also supports Missionaries in Nigeria and some West African nations. He was known for decency and orderliness. Pastor Taiwo has left a legacy that will inspire people to serve God and humanity. My prayer is that his legacy will live forever. An icon and a generalissimo has gone to rest in the bosom of His Lord. ADIEU"

My first time in the Fountain of Life Church was early August over 2 decades ago. You and Pastor Bim were away on your annual R&R, a lady pastor preached and I was so blessed! I was like, if the pastor is not around and I was this blessed, what then will happen when they return. I came back every Sunday until Pastor and Pastor Bim returned. I was struck by your passion for the Lord, your simplicity, humility, Integrity.....

"God has called one of his faithful servants, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, home! I know heaven is rejoicing even though we miss him on earth.
I am grateful to have been a member of The Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Nigeria during my teenage years, and to have had Pastors Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya as positive influences. Pastor Taiwo in particular, demonstrated that one can be an intellectual and a devout Christian by being an Engineer and a Pastor. He encouraged us to study God’s word individually, and to talk to God directly. There is no need for an intermediary; the throne of God is accessible to all.
Even years after I left Fountain and returned to visit, he was still pastoring! In parting, he gave me several books about leadership because he identified a calling to lead. One of these books was “Lead like Jesus” by Ken Blanchard and Phil Hodges which was transformational.
Pastor Taiwo, truly you will be missed. Rest in peace! To God be the glory!"

Every time I changed jobs for better jobs in Nigeria was from a word I received from Pastor Taiwo’s message, when my PR was approved I got a confirmation when Pastor Taiwo was preaching, I and my wife are expecting our baby and we have a name already courtesy of Pastor Taiwo.
This is hard for me, but Pastor Taiwo I and my family love you and appreciate all you have done for God’s kingdom.

My first meeting with you was on the 11th of December 2005, after the death of my husband, Olaitan Ogundipe, who along with Pastor Bimbo, had passed to glory via the ill-fated Sosoliso plane crash.
You called to encourage me even while grieving too, you kept calling to find out how the children and I were doing and especially when you found out that I was pregnant, you made sure I was well taking care of - having medical attention and assigned people to be with us all through that period, that showed me that you are a TRUE man of God, even in pain you were still concerned about our welfare.
The encouraging words you said to me at those period and everytime you see me, are strength pills for me in moving on in life and you making sure that all the promises you made to the children and I are been fulfill.
I remember, how my children are always excited when I tell them, "Pastor said we should see him after service", it was like they were going to meet with a king, yes, you are a king for the Most High.
Thank you Sir for also setting up the Ruth and Boaz fellowship and giving me the privilege to serve there. This fellowship has brought a lot hope and strength to a lot of widows.
Thank you sir for your great impact on humanity especially my children and I.
Your life is always an inspiration, especially to my family.
Thank you for being you.
The joy is that you are singing and dancing before the One you love so much and taught us to love.
Looking back now, I have a clearer understanding that the year of the Holy Spirit was not coincidentally, it was well orchestrated because you are the man of the spirit.
Adieu, till we all meet on resurrection morning, e ba mi ki Olaitanmi."

"There is no amount of tribute, service of whatever songs, sermons of faithlessness and any other events of any capacity that can ever express or quantify or ever compliment the humanity of human being Taiwo Daniel Odukoya that I personally encountered meeting him face to face for the very first time during the moment of human being Bimbo Rosemary Odukoya demise back then 2005. Very humble as the greatest humanist aside the childhood accidental forced birth place beliefs he preaches as his calling. And death is not the greatest punishment, judgement or reward of human service, coming to human knowledge of self and compassion to fellow human person is the greatest reward, judgement and punishment if indeed there is any of such physical happenings as encounters outside this human space of Life existence as humanity. #HumanityIsEvilAndGood"

"Pastor Taiwo was Gods gift to our generation and to the Fountain of Life Church in particular.
I am a life that was affected by his teachings and ministry from the moment I walked into the Church in October 1995. Your influence touched the ends of the earth from Ilupeju.
You built lives and counted your riches in souls .
You have raised leaders , you have certainly equipped the saints for life and ministry.
Many of us have been blessed and able to define our own purpose in life through your obedience to the Lord. Thank you for giving selflessly to the Lord Sir .
I can only imagine how star studded your Crown is.
You lived , you continue to live. Yours is an enduring legacy.
I can’t even begin to document here how much you mean to me and my family.
Working with you up close was a huge privilege, the testimonies of intervention in lives are too numerous to count.
You didn’t even need to know people to offer assistance. Too many of us became adopted Children that enjoyed the benefits and blessings of sons.
Pst’s Tolu, Jimi, Tobi , Timilehin and Jomiloju , thank you for sharing Daddy with us. The Lord will always rejoice over you with singing.
We will continue to drink from the Fountain of life and draw strength from the Holy Spirit that you were intentional in telling us to rely on.

"Pastor Taiwo Odukoya: A Radiant Star of Faith
In the realm where stars once brightly gleamed, A solemn news, like a whispered dream,
Has reached our ears, a heart heavy and pained, For Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has now attained.
Precious, indeed, in the Lord’s own sight, The passing of His saints, a sacred rite, And in this moment, we gather here, To honor a man so noble and dear.
Oh, what a soul, with a heart so grand, A good man, with love at his command, His life, a testament to unwavering faith, A beacon of light, in times of dark wraith.
Hebrews spoke of faith’s steadfast decree, In hardship and trials, a resolute plea, And among those listed, our dear Pastor Taiwo, A testament to faith’s eternal flame.
We shall not dwell on the struggles he faced, But rather on the strength of his faith, embraced, For in the face of trials, his spirit prevailed, His unwavering trust in God, never veiled.
The memory of the righteous, eternally blessed, In our hearts, his faith and example rest, Grateful, we stand, for your life’s noble art, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, forever in our hearts.
Now, in the realms of eternal joys untold, May you find solace, where celestial wonders unfold, Amidst the pleasures of our dear Christ’s embrace, Rest, Our Dear Pastor Taiwo, in His everlasting grace.
Your Son
Dr. Toye Sobande"

"The last time I saw Pastor Taiwo, I had just survived a storm. For some reason, I decided to volunteer in the choir at the London Thursday Showers (as this was my department back then in Nigeria). I never forgot the words of encouragement you gave me without me saying anything. The message you preached that day about Lazarus has never left me. Lastly you asked me a question “how is ministry?” I still didn’t know what you meant but as I forged ahead I understood that gifts of God upon my life must never be dormant. It is the reason I sing, it is the reason I’m fervent for the Lord. I say it again “your seed lives in me, my family and many other”.
The Lord will keep all the children (biological and spiritual) till we meet again🙏🏿.
Sun re, sun re, sun re. Sleep well my Papa till we meet again."

You are a true worshipper, spirit filled and great man of God. You constantly teach me faith, worship, prayer and absolute reliance on the word of God.
Though you may have left us in flesh, but we know that you will forever live on in our hearts and minds as you have left an indelible mark in our lives.

"I was totally devastated to hear of the passing to glory of my father in the Lord, the inimitable Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya. The pain was indescribable. Totally shattering.
However, with today’s ministration by his own father in the Lord, Bishop Mike Okonkwo; preceded by words of comfort whispered to my heart directly from the throne of grace; it seems I will get beyond the tears and arrive at a place of reveling in wonderful memories of Pastor Taiwo.
His support during a very difficult period of my life saw me emerging stronger. And that was who he was: an encourager, exceedingly kind, but also very firm and very fair.
How I wish that I got the chance to have one last one-on-one conversation with you. I would have told you how much you mean to my daughter and I. Alas, it wasn’t to be so.😢 But I guess you know now - in Heaven, our knowledge will be perfect.
Fare thee well, Man-of-God like none other… present with the Lord! Forever. And ever."

"I am a Young Person, so i did. Not have any direct contacts with him. My relatives were members (officials) of the church so let him occasionally but this tribute is not based on their relations to him. But rather to the people I don’t know, I found out about the tragic news and saw a period of mourning from people I didn’t know as members of the church, and I believe that as humans when we pass on to the father, how people talk about us is very indicative of our person.
A very kind soul, steadfast in the word of God, although he had endured many challenges he still stood strong in the face of them all in his belief with God. And for that alone I can say that he would not only be sorely missed but his character not only as a pastor but as a person would be greatly felt. But I can rest easy knowing that he has moved on to meet God and may his soul rest in perfect peace."

We will miss you Pastor Taiwo, we will miss your teachings, your dancing, your energy, your voice, your guidance… we will miss you Pastor T.
Pastor T you taught us to always praise n worship God, never losing hope even in the face of adversity or when it’s hard to do so. We saw you do it to the very end… you walked the WORD to the letter, we are all witnesses.
We are trying to do just what you would want us to do during this trying period though it’s hard …but we will be here worshiping all the days of our lives till we all meet at the feet of our Master Jesus to part no more.
I pray the Holy Spirit comfort and strength his children, every member of the Odukoya family and the fountain of life church in Jesus name. Amen.
It’s indeed our year of the Holy Spirit."

"I have been in fountain of life church for up to 14 years
And all my life I have been in fountain pastor Tiwo odukoya has always delivered me from all my tears and pain when they was nobody to meet I could walk up my pastor.
I was so devastated when I heard about all his lose but I know to myself that there is no amount of gold that anybody can use to purchase your presence and impact in the fountain of life church
Your children you left on earth are not orphanage because you have the whole church to watch over them because the house of God still stands and it will never crumble or be destroyed by the devil.
Your children will be your successor, the achievement of your goal as far they are alive your spirit is also alive
May your soul continue to rest in peace and may the almighty God continue to protect your family and may they rise and shine in Jesus name.Amen"

Pastor Taiwo gave me such good memories in life that they will remain with me till my last breath.
I never thought that a day like this will come when I won’t be able to see him anymore.
To me, he was the best pastor of all time. Maybe this is the reason why the pain of losing him is just too heavy for me to carry! I miss him!
His service to Yahweh has impacted my life greatly. His ministry is continually blessing me.
I know he will always be with me and watching me from above. I am always working hard to make him happy and proud.
Knowing him is the greatest honor of my life. I owe him more than I could ever give in a lifetime.

"Dear Pastor Taiwo,
I was speaking with a friend on how you were one Pastor who pushed your female pastors and leaders to shine brightly. You lived it and epitomised it.
It was in Fountain I saw so many female CEOs who were church leaders doing so well in their fields. Thank you for the joy you always had around you. You effused joy so abundantly and brought forth joy every season you were at. I remember after losing Pastor Bimbo your sermon in church how you made us dance and rejoice, how you reminded us that was it only in good times we praised God? We also praised him in bad times as well.
Thursday showers with you was a time of raw miracles and blessings, I remember praising my way into distinct miracles. Every service in fountain was so joy filled...
My single days were marked because you gave of yourself to the Lord.
Till we meet on the other side of eternity. Good night papa"

"Dear Pastor Taiwo, thank you for leaving such an indelible mark in the world. Thank you for your display of character through several trials of life. You are truly an epitome, an icon, of the grace of God in flesh.
I was an avid reader of your column “Insights for men.” I learned so much from those columns. One of your pieces left an indelible mark in me. It was about a man who graduated from school with a mediocre result, however, he applied himself to the word, meditating on it everyday, especially during his break time. When he was going to retire, he gave his testimony and at this time he had become a big shot. He built schools and gave so much to his community.
I look forward to doing the same in my lifetime and I want to thank you for shining the light. I also loved your construction of words and how you would use the Webster dictionary to explain them.
I learned so much from you from afar and I wish I had the opportunity to say thank you in person. Nevertheless, when we meet at the master’s feet, I’ll be sure to give you a big hug and say “thank you; I’m the soul that was saved because of you.”

The word of faith you shared forever remains light to us by the Spirit of the Most High God. I love you my Dad, Father, Friend, Mentor, Leader, Intercessor. When I joined Fountain of Life Church in 2005, the church stood as a city of refuge for me. The church helped me to regain my mind. Because of the work you did. When I lost my dear big & elder Brother, I draw strength from how you modelled trust in God when Pastor Bimbo went to glory. When I was homeless with my family, I prayed and you were able to get this in the Spirit and you helped me and everyone in the dungeon of homeless. Now that our Master had called you home, I am confident that we will make God proud as you did, because you had duplicated yourself in us, I remain strong in faith, trusting God, remaining in His strength, walking in His purpose for my life more than ever before. "Pastor Taiwo was my one and only Pastor and Father-in-the-Lord and the Fountain of Life Church has been my church for over 22 years.
Pastor Taiwo is a true man of God. He is a true worshiper and he practiced what he preached by standing firm in Christ and always demonstrating faith in God before the church and the entire world at large.
Despite his remarkable achievement in career and ministry he was very humble. There are just few humble successful pastors; he was one them if not the most humble amongst them.
I was a Muslim and The Fountain of Life Church has been my church since I gave my life to Christ. I am certainly going to miss this great man of God. "My heart is broken! Pastor Taiwo was an exemplary leader. It’s so sad to write about him in past tense ! Such an epitome of worship and humility. God”s special gift to us . Keep resting in God”s bosom.

"To a man who truly embodied the title of a "father," words cannot express the pain in my heart as I learn of your passing. I cannot turn a blind eye to this reality, so l have made the conscious decision to carry on the path you taught me with unwavering strength and fervent belief. My three children and I wept till we couldn’t but we take solace in the fact that we will meet on resurrection morning, to dance with you once again daddy."

"Words fail me....where do i start?
My first vivid memory of seeing pastor Taiwo was in 1981 when i noticed this dating couple frequently passing along our street at Olasonde Street, papa-Ajao and coverted their godly virtue.
Fast forward to 1983, i was in Unilag with Tunde Williams and was invited to a wednesday fellowship called faith clinic, this was where i saw pastor Taiwo again ministering along with Past. Tunde Jooda.
I gave my life to Christ on my first visit because of what i have seen in both couple earlier.
When i got married we desired to attend a church to raise our children in the godly way, a friend invited us to TFOLC where i reconnected again with past Taiwo and wife.
My family grew under the biblical teachings of our spiritual father. He nurtured my marriage through the Married Women Ministry, sitting under the ministry classes of pastor Taiwo and also the Womenleader mentoring fellowship has assisted me to navigate through my career, making me outstanding among my peers.
An incidence i could never forget was in 2019, i received his call while in a state of distress and confusion in Central Africa, it was Gods intervention to get me back on the path of my purpose.
Theres more to say about this great Gods General selfless in every way....while thanking God for this priceless gift, a vacuum no one can fill has been created in our family..
Thank you past Taiwo for giving yourself to the Lord....im a life that was saved and blessed by God through your ministry."

"THE MAN WHO BUILT WITH LIVING STONES
About eighteen years ago, when I found myself in the Fountain of Life Church, I was a spiritual refugee in search of food and shelter.
I had just been forced to leave a church where I had dedicated myself for many years because I had dared to privately challenge a lie which the church (or its leaders) had told in public and in the ensuing melee, my soul was savaged. I learnt the hard way that Christian brothers (and sisters) have the capacity to wound you deeply, and then look you in the eye and cut you again and even then, our Father will ask you to forgive them.
I forgave them, but the bond of fellowship had become broken because in the absence of truth and repentance, the congregation had become to me no more than a social gathering. And so, I left and became a wanderer, a disciple without an earthly master, going from church to church, seeking true fellowship and a refuge for my soul, but at the same time very wary of men.
As a result of my antecedence, when I came to the Fountain of Life Church, I remained very withdrawn and distrustful, but Pastor Taiwo had a way of reaching out to me in a manner that told me that he knew I was reclusive, but that he accepted me just the way that I was. He was willing to wait for me to heal but the only condition he gave everyone was that you must in your own way and at your own level, do the work of God with fervency, with love and with an open heart.
And I looked for the guile in him, but I found none. I searched for the pride to be found in men of influence but found only the mind of Christ. I kept a look out for the backstabs, the innuendo and the gang-ups, but found no such thing, only an abundance of love, of self-sacrifice and a man who preached nothing except Christ crucified and risen again.
I did not need to ask anyone where the tithes and the offerings went. I could see the money feeding the hungry right before my eyes, clothing the naked, comforting the distressed, giving shelter to the destitute, educating and giving a future to the castaways and those found under Oshodi Bridge and the most poverty-stricken ghettos of Lagos, bringing succour to the persecuted churches of the North and not forgetting those in the IDP camps, while also taking the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth.
Having a deep understanding of the principles of citizenship of the Kingdom of Heaven, and yet preaching a simple uncomplicated gospel, he walked the earth with a palpable anointing of the Spirit of God, transmitting his wisdom to his flock even as he guarded us jealously, teaching and nurturing us precept by precept, line by line, here a little, there a little, with words, by a gentle touch, and by the example of his own life. In our time of rejoicing, he rejoiced with us, and in our time of sorrow, wept with us. He was never too busy to give love even to absolute strangers. Everybody had his phone number. He made disciples of us all, so that we too may go into the world and make disciples of all men.
Pastor Taiwo taught us that the House of God is not built with brick and mortar, and we are the epistles of Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, written in our hearts, known and read by all men, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart.
For the House that Pastor Taiwo built is a house of living stones; it is a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, to show forth the praises of him who has called us out of darkness into his marvellous light.
And because the House that Pastor Taiwo built was built by the Spirit of the Living God, it shall endure forever, as it is written even as the Preacher said “I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing shall be added to it, and nothing shall be taken from it.”
Amen.

"Pastor Taiwo was a visionary leader, a strong man of faith who was passionate about God and service to God.
He believed so much in the efficacy of the word of God and the power embedded in it. He would advise us about having a closer and better relationship with God, and would constantly enjoin us to “Know God for Yourself.”
I will miss him so much, because I received the Holy spirit under his ministration. Heaven is rejoicing over him. Rest in peace, my dearest Pastor Taiwo."
